Bipolar Banter: A UBC Thrive Event

Event Date: Thursday, November 3rd 2016
Bipolar Banter: A UBC Thrive Event

Have questions about bipolar disorder? Want to meet folks who work in mental health research, or who live with the condition… or both? Members of the UBC community (staff, students, and faculty) are invited to join us for a light lunch and a chat as part of UBC Thrive Week. No formality, no slides, just a safe, fun, and stigma-free gathering of like-minded people dedicated to helping people with bipolar disorder to thrive in the community at UBC and beyond. Light refreshments will be provided.

Come hang out with Dr. Erin Michalak (Associate Professor Psychiatry Dept.), Dr. Steven Barnes (Instructor, Psychology Dept.), Sara Lapsley (Clinical Counselor, musician, and bipolar disorder researcher), CREST.BD peer researchers who live with bipolar, and others in our community.

Where: UBC School of Population and Public Health, B151
When: Thursday November 3rd, 12 to 1 pm

RSVP here and we hope to see you on November 3rd!
