The Collaborative RESearch Team to study psychosocial issues in Bipolar Disorder (CREST.BD) is a multidisciplinary collaborative network of researchers, people living with bipolar disorder, healthcare providers, and family members and supporters.

We are dedicated to collaborative research and knowledge exchange about psychological and social factors in bipolar disorder. Our mission is to optimise the health and quality of life of people living with bipolar disorder. Read our Strategic Plan here.


We are charting new directions in bipolar disorder research, treatment and care. Your support is essential to CREST.BD’s research and knowledge implementation.

Web/app developers and designers

This internship is an unpaid position and requires a commitment of 3-4 hours per week for 6 months. Work hours and location can be flexible.

Major responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and assist in the implementation of new features for CREST.BD websites and apps
  • Collaborate with the research team to understand research goals and needs to devise possible solutions
  • Solve problems as they arise independently and in coordination with the research team

Desired Expertise:

  • Understanding of traditional and new media
  • Strong judgement
  • Web/app development skills
  • Interest in communications and desire to learn about mental health
  • Strong work ethic, desire to work in a team
