Sara Lapsley

Sara Lapsley Sara Lapsley lives well with BD and has been involved in CREST.BD for a number of years as a participant, a volunteer, and now as a student researcher. Sara completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at SFU in 2009 is currently doing her Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology with a special interest in Bipolar Disorder, Addiction, Group Therapy, and Communty Based Research Methods. She is working on various projects with CREST.BD including a literature review of bipolar disorder and recovery and looking at the Wellness data for prodomes of mania and depression.

Sara is active locally as a musician, writer, and aspiring broadcaster. She hopes to address stigma by being open about mental illness, and be a role model to others who live with BD.
