Smartphone apps can help support many aspects of our quality of life – you might already be using apps to do your banking, talk to family and friends, meet fitness goals, or even learn a new language.
For those of us who live with bipolar disorder, apps can also help us manage our mental health. Results from a recent study showed that many people with bipolar disorder are using apps to help them track their mood or get better sleep.

We’ve also just completed a study evaluating the impact of this video among 42 people with bipolar disorder – with results published in the Journal of Participatory Medicine. This study found preliminary evidence that an educational video can help people with bipolar disorder improve their ability to identify, apply, and evaluate the quality of digital health resources.
