Biography

Dr. Kathryn Fletcher is a senior research associate at the National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED), University of New South Wales. She is a clinical researcher with over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health, and completed her PhD examining the psychological profile of bipolar disorder. Kathryn has co-authored over 70 publications in local and international scientific journals. Her research interests are in bipolar disorder, the bipolar II disorder sub-type, psychological models and treatments, and digital health interventions to improve quality of life. Kathryn’s current research focuses on developing novel treatments for people who use stimulants, with an interest in expanding the evidence base for psychedelic-assisted therapies.

What I do when I'm not working

You’ll find me scoping out Sydney cafes for the best coffee and breakfast, hanging out at the beach, and playing with my incredibly fluffy Maine Coon cat.
