Research Assistant, CREST.BD
I’m a research assistant here at CREST.BD. Currently, my primary role is to lead knowledge translation and content development on the PolarUs project to create a self-management app for bipolar disorder. As a part of this work, I facilitate and coordinate the hard work of our work-learn students, volunteers, and peer researchers living with bipolar disorder. Additionally, I help with data analysis relating to the app’s development, such as assisting with data cleaning and analysis for our Bipolar Bridges app survey.
I manage, coordinate and write for the Bipolar Blog, where we publish research updates, events, and lived experience stories from people with bipolar disorder. I also help with #TalkBD, CREST.BD’s webinar series addressing mental health concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the past, I worked on the Bipolar Youth Action Project, a community-based participatory research study that partnered with youth with bipolar disorder to investigate self-management strategies.
In my spare time, I like do yoga, go on nature walks, watch weird art movies, and ski.
