Victoria is an award-winning mental health speaker, actor and playwright. At the age of 25 she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, anxiety and psychosis and has since become a self-proclaimed Wellness Warrior and Bipolar Princess!

She speaks on the lived experience of mental illness, recovery, workplace mental health, creativity and wellness. Since 2002, she’s written four theatrical keynotes and has performed them along with various workshops at conferences, corporations and community events internationally. She has been blogging for Psychology Today Magazine for over 12 years. Victoria’s work helps diverse groups understand the ‘insider’s’ experience of mental illness, and find tools and hope for recovery and wellness.

The Mental Health Commission of Canada rates her keynote ‘That’s Just Crazy Talk’ as one of the top anti-stigma interventions in the country.

What I do when I'm not working

I love living away from the bustle of the city. I recharge by meditating, doing yoga or practising Chi Kung in the morning, and spending time outside running in the trails near my home and hiking with my husband.
