Today and tomorrow–September 9th and 10th 2020–scholars across Canada are observing Scholar Strike Canada, a response to ongoing racial injustice in North America. As said on the Scholar Strike website:
For these two days, we will pause our teaching and all administrative duties. We will use this time to organize public digital teach-ins on police brutality and violence in our communities from both historical and contemporary perspectives.
Team members at CREST.BD will be observing the strike and attending digital teach-ins available on YouTube. Over these two days, we will cease our regular communications in CREST.BD and focus our social media posts, internal communications and work on racial injustice issues. We encourage others to join us.
